Australia - Sai members across Australia are stepping up on Sunday 5 March to Clean Up Australia

Like many developed countries across the globe, litter and rubbish is a common issue. Such rubbish including single-use plastic often get into the water ways and oceans and have a major impact on the environment and wildlife. Our members including SSE children, Young Adults and adults from across Australia participate every year in the Annual Clean Up Australia which takes place on the first Sunday of March. Last year, our members joined nearly 1 million Australians for Clean Up Australia to clean up litter at parks, beaches, bushland and roadways.

Next Sunday, 5 March 2023, our members will be joining other Australian communities and stepping up to Clean Up Australia once again. This year, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Australia has registered 18 clean up locations across Australia and we look forward once again for our members and the community coming together to remove litter and Save Mother Earth.
