Ladies Day Celebrations - Delhi NCR | India


Like all previous years, with the immense blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Mahilas of Delhi - NCR celebrated Ladies Day with traditional gaiety at Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.


This year due to restrictions imposed by the government to combat pollution the celebration was deferred from 18th November to 4th December .


As part of the celebration a specially conceived event, "SHUKRANA" was presented conveying our gratitude to our beloved BHAGAWAN SRI SATHYA SAI BABA.


Dr Nirmala Devi Indukuri, a former civil servant, now member Central Social Welfare Board & Director Railway Board graced the occasion with lighting of the lamp.


The program started from the meditation tree planted at the Sai Centre with a grand procession headed by young girl holding the Prashanthi flag, followed by Veda chanters, Nissan Sahab Ji, Panj Pyare , girls dressed up showcasing different attires from Punjab and other states of India. Amid chanting of Vedas and hymns from Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the procession entered the basement hall for further proceedings.


Other highlights of the program were recitation of Chaupai Sahab ji from Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Talk, Quiz, Skit "CHEPINATTU CHESTARA" by Bal Vikas Gurus, Punjabi Boliyan and Kirtan Darbar.


The program concluded with Mangal Aarti and distribution of Kada Prasad followed by Guru-da-Langar.


Around 200 mahilas participated in the event.
