Mauritius-Beach Clean-Up

On this warm and sunny Sunday of 07th April 2024, some 20 volunteers from Sri Sathya Sai Overseas Organisation Mauritius-Region 7 (Pamplemousses) embarked on a laudable journey towards environmental stewardship through a Beach Clean-Up event at Pointe aux Piments. The spirit of this Beach Clean-Up lies in its core objective: to preserve the pristine beauty of our coastal areas, which are vital to our planet's health and well-being.

Some 20 bags of litter and debris were collected. The significance of this endeavor is a clarion call to raise awareness about the supreme importance of maintaining the cleanliness and vitality of our oceans and beaches. Such actions are crucial for safeguarding marine life and their habitats, averting coastal erosion, and fostering sustainable tourism practices.

This commendable initiative witnessed an inspiring display of unity and dedication among the devotees present; which also served as a testament to the power of collective action in making a positive impact on our environment.
