Mauritius-Celebrating Earth Day

International Earth Day takes place on the 22nd of April every year.  Its aim is to promote conservation and sustainability of our environment.  Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba also emphasizes on Nature and our environment.

In this context, on Saturday 20th April 2024, activities were organized by SSSE gurus, helpers and students of groups 1 to 4 across the island during the SSSE classes.  These activities comprised of lessons on the importance of plants, keeping our environment clean, planting of seeds and plants, recycling, and reciting of poems creating an awareness of not polluting our home, Mother Earth and to conserve our planet. A small act can make a big difference.
