Disability Day-Region 4 Coordinating Committee-Upper Plaines Wilhems

The Regional Coordinating Committee Region 4-Upper Plaines Wilhems of the Sri Sathya Sai Overseas Organisation Mauritius conducted its annual Disability Day on Sunday 29 October 2023 at Fraternité Mauriciene des Malades et Handicapés at Grande Rivière Northwest. This event regrouped around 250 people including brothers and sisters who are in a situation of disability and their accompanying relatives around specially adapted games and activities organized by the committee. These activities included face paint, archery training, can-smashing, throw-a-ring game, football, carrom and domino. The special invitees were entertained by the live band group Rising Stars with their live songs and Karaoke. Snacks, drinks, and lunch were served to all of the brothers and sisters present ad they were gifted a token of love for the occasion.
