MAURITIUS-SPORTS AND FUN DAY

The ‘Love All Serve All Foundation’ supported by the ‘Sri Sathya Sai Overseas Organisation of Mauritius’ and the ‘National Social Inclusion Foundation’(NSIF), held its yearly Sports and Fun day on Saturday 17 December 2022 at the Flic en Flac football ground from 9am to noon. The District Council of Flic en Flac had gracefully put the football ground at our disposal. It also provided a marquee tent, chairs and tables. The participants were our usual beneficiaries that is the needy children aged 6 to 16 hailing from Bambous village.

Thirty-two participants and about twenty SSSEHV members and young adults were present. The event started with a March by all participants, followed by the National Anthem and a prayer. The activities consisted of a Unity Race, some Value Games and a football match. The event was winded up by a ceremony of Medal presentation to all the winners. The children were overjoyed when Santa Claus made a dazzling entrance and distributed chocolates and gifts.

Refreshments and snacks were served during the whole program. Lunch and water were also provided.

The program, was also punctuated by a few popular value songs performed by the young adults. The participants enjoyed all the activities and had great fun dancing along to the rhythm of the background Sega music. It was a vivid and funfilled day graced by a radiant sunshine. Everything went on smoothly and we are thankful to the sponsors, attendees and volunteers for bringing up such a brilliant and successful experience.
