Morning Proceedings | Sri Sathya Sai Global Council | May 16, 2022

Loving Sai Ram and Greetings from Prasanthi Nilayam. With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the first overseas program Post Covid-19 was conducted this morning in Sai Kulwant Hall. The devotees from Zone 4 and Zone 5, Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, have gathered in Prasanthi Nilayam to celebrate Buddha Poornima in the Divine Presence of Bhagawan. It was heartening to see 15 monks from Kathmandu initiating the proceedings in the morning by walking in a procession amidst traditional hymns of Narasiha Gatha. The monks then placed a White Buddha Statue at the Divine Sannidhi and invited all the revered elders to light the traditional lamp. The Buddha Poornima Co-ordiantor, Sri Vashdev Khialani offered his heartfelt gratitude to Swami on behalf of all the overseas devotees gathered here for enabling them to travel from several countries and congregate at Prasanthi Nilayam. A new website for Sri Lanka, Zone 4 - Sri Sathya Sai Global Council was launched in the Divine Presence of our Bhagawan by Sri K Chakravarthi (Chairman of SSSGC), Nimish Pandya (Vice Chairman of SSSGC) and Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust). The monks then chanted the traditional Buddhist hymns and mantras praying for Global Peace and the Well-Being of all and thus concluded the morning proceedings by offering Mangala Arati to Bhagawan. The devotees were later allowed to perform the Traditional Abhishekam to the Lord Buddha Idol. Please find the glimpses of the same : https://www.srisathyasai.org/pages/sai-article-68.html
