South Africa - Blood Camps

The partnership between the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council and the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is a beacon of hope in a country facing numerous challenges. This collaboration is a true testament to the power of love, compassion and the shared goal of saving lives.

Devotees of the SSSGC SA believe that blood donation is a lifeline that connects people and transcends race, colour and creed.

The SSSGC SA blood camps held countrywide is a noble endeavor to mobilize devotees and community members to donate blood, to raise awareness of the shortage of this liquid love and to transform individuals in the spirit of giving.

In hosting regular blood camps, devotees strive to bridge the gap between blood supply and demand.

The beauty of this collaboration lies in the stories of hope and transformation it weaves. Lives are saved, families are reunited, and communities are strengthened.

Between the months of January to September 2023 there were 130 Blood camps hosted by SSSGC: South Africa. 6022 pints of blood were collected and 455 new donors were added to the SANBS database.

There are approximately 32 clinics planned for the rest of 2023.

The SSSGC South African blood team offers this noble seva at the lotus feet of our Lord and master Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
