South Africa - Seva with Love: Celebrating Swami's Birthday at Thokoza Home for the Elderly

On the auspicious occasion of Swami's birthday, November 18, 2023, a special Seva was organized at the Thokoza Home for the Elderly, where the essence of love and care was brought to life through the heartfelt efforts of devoted sisters. In a beautiful display of compassion, they prepared an array of nourishing meals and delightful desserts, along with thoughtful snack boxes for the residents, creating moments of joy and satisfaction.

The menu was a lavish spread that included three types of curries, rice, roti, salads, trifle, ice cream, and a variety of snacks. This feast not only offered physical nourishment but also conveyed the warmth and affection of those who prepared it, making the day even more special for the elderly residents.

Adding to the spirit of giving, 55 hygiene packs were lovingly assembled and distributed. Each pack, thoughtfully put into a cloth bag, contained essential items such as soap, a water bottle, a face cloth, a comb, lotion, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. These hygiene packs were more than just items of necessity; they were tokens of care and dignity, ensuring the well-being of the recipients.
