SSSGC Zone 1-Canada: Sri Sathya Sai 98th Birthday Celebrations

Bhagawan’s Descent is for our Ascent. Bhagawan’s birthday is our day to rejoice and celebrate Him within us.

For our dear Bhagawan’s 98th year of advent, thousands of Canadian Hearts were beating as one – all saying “Happy Birthday to You Swami”

Every center had a unique offering for Swami on His birthday encompassing all aspects of SAI (Service, Adoration and Illumination), ranging from special bhajans, devotional songs, SSE dramas, and food drives. The day was adorned with both morning and evening programs, including Suprabatham, inaugural processions and special songs.

To give the flavour of the fervour:

Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Greater Toronto Area – By the grace of our Beloved Bhagawan, Sri. Prem Anosh, currently serving in Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre (SSSMC), Prasanthi Nilayam, shared his thoughts as part of Swami's 98th Birthday celebrations via a pre-recorded video satsang. Further, the evening program consisted of a vibrant procession and special songs.

Don Mills Sai Centre – Offered a lotus-shaped cake in celebration of His Advent.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Middlefield – In addition to a blissful Suprabatham morning, and evening programs, an SSE program titled “The Divine & The Devotee” has been offered.

Furthermore, special, enthralling Bhajans were organized by the following centres:

Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Alberta, Lansdowne Sai Centre, Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre of Morningside, Sai Samarpan Centre, Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Victoria Park, Sri Sathya Sai Baba Vedic Centre of Saskatoon.

Overall, it was a Sri Sathya Sai Canadian Carnival to celebrate His Life, His Message and His Legacy. Eyes moist, hearts filled, smiles galore, faces bright and warm greetings were hallmark emotions in everyone who came to Celebrate as ONE Sai Family.
