A DESIRE TO SERVE

As disaster struck Turkey and Syria on February 6, 2023, many nations and communities-initiated relief activities for the needy. As members of Sri Sathya Sai Center of South Bethesda, we wanted to do our part, however little, in alleviating the pain and suffering of thousands of people left without shelter by the earthquake. We contacted the Turkish Embassy in Washington DC and received a list of items needed urgently and very specific requirements for packaging the items individually in clear plastic bags.
