UK - Region 4 Christmas Party

The Young Adults and elders of the Leicester Sai Centres organised a Christmas party for The Bridge (homelessness charity), held on 9th December. It was great to see so many Young Adults coming together for weeks to plan the event, then help with cooking, decorate the hall, play games and music and entertain our guests, bringing big smiles all around. The guests really enjoyed the food, games and karaoke time singing Christmas carols. Some of the Young Adults volunteered in the kitchen alongside our elders to prepare a big breakfast as well as the Christmas party food in such a short time. It was the first time volunteering at the Bridge for many; and we had amazing feedback from all that they found it quite fulfilling
